What is LakBai?
LakBai is a point-to-point carpooling platform. If a driver is already heading somewhere, they can offer empty seats. If you need a ride that way, you can hop in and share the cost.
It’s not a ride-hailing app.
What is carpooling / ride-sharing?
It’s simple: people going the same direction share one car.
On ride-hailing apps, a driver is sent to pick you up for a private ride, and you then pay for their service. On LakBai, the driver decides the trip details, and all the other participants just join in and share the cost.
Who can use LakBai?
During early access, we accept anyone whose origin or destination point is in one of the following locations: Makati, Taguig, Mandaluyong, and Pasig.
How do I get started?
Join the early access by clicking the Early Access button and filling out the waitlist form. Once the application is ready, you will receive an email with an access code and link to download the LakBai app.
