Safety
Verified people, clear trip details, and tools to review or report — so you can ride with more confidence.
Why is LakBai safer than random or informal rides?
Because you’re not hopping into a stranger’s car with no idea who they are.
On LakBai, everyone is verified — drivers and passengers. You can also see who’s on the trip with you. When people aren’t anonymous, it’s easier to keep things respectful and safe.
How do I confirm who I’m riding with?
Before you get in, check the app. You’ll see the driver’s name, the car (including the plate), and who else is on the trip.
If it doesn’t match what you see in person, don’t get in. Message in the app or ask for help.
What if something feels wrong?
Trust your gut. You don’t have to get in — or stay — if something feels off.
Step away, stay somewhere public if you can, and use the app to message or get help. If it’s an emergency, call 911 (or your local emergency number) first. You can reach us after you’re safe.
How do I leave a review or report someone?
After a trip, you can rate the people you rode with — the driver and other passengers, or your passengers if you were driving.
If someone’s behavior wasn’t okay, you can report them too. We encourage it. Honest reviews and reports help keep LakBai safer for everyone.
You’ll find review and report options in the app on the trip or under Help.
How does the app help keep trips safer?
A few things work together:
- Everyone on the trip is verified and visible
- All cars are registered with appropriate documentation
- Trips are planned. You know the meet-up and destination ahead of time
- The location is tracked during the trip
- You can review and report people after a ride
